I’m a service designer and UX researcher, currently working on modernizing justice delivery services in Canada's federal courts.
Previously part of the former Ontario Digital Service, designing better government experiences for people who live in, work in, or visit Ontario. I've also advanced human-centered design practices at Sun Life Financial and the University of Washington Libraries, and worked on strategy and data analysis at international development and corporate diversity nonprofits in San Salvador, Toronto, and New York City.
I have a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington, and a prior academic background in business and history. This combination gives me a passion for detailed research, a focus on seeking out the sweet spots where stakeholder goals align, and a mindset of being inspired by the past to plan for the future.

Are we sure? A handy question in both thoroughly analyzing research, but equally at home with separating real from assumed constraints and proposing creative new ideas.
What could go wrong? I deeply appreciate constructive criticism from users and teammates, and breaking up "happy path" assumptions. I'm also a big fan of Black Mirror brainstorming and considering the long-term impacts of a service.
Who are we leaving out? I'm constantly working towards a more inclusive research practice and working further up the ladder of co-production with the people who know services best: those who use them.
